TFS Information Security Basic Policy

Toyota Financial Services Corporation (hereinafter called "TFSC") hereby establishes its Information Security Policy. As a group company of Toyota Motor Corporation (hereinafter called "Toyota Motor"), TFSC shall appropriately manage and protect all information assets based on Toyota Motor's Information Security Policy.

1 Compliance

TFSC shall comply with applicable laws and regulations related to information security and implement information security management activities in accordance with national guidelines and other social norms.

2 Establishment of Information Security Management Framework

TFSC shall establish an information security management framework to properly manage and protect its information assets.

3 Implementation and Operation of Information Security Controls

TFSC shall analyze information security threats (such as leakage, tampering and destruction), and implement controls based on the identified threats and severity.

4 Information Security Incident Response

TFSC shall ensure transparency in responding to information security incidents and will uphold our social obligations and accountability.

5 Continuous Improvement, “Kaizen”

TFSC shall conduct regular evaluations of our information security management framework and controls and continuously improve them.
